L-(+)-Erythrulose (DHB)

Erythrulose is a natural ketone. Usually used in combination with Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), it makes DHA darker and more evenly distributed. Erythrulose is a water-soluble, sun-free tanning product fermented by nonpathogenic bacteria. It undergoes a Maillard reaction with the free amino acids of keratin in the epidermis cuticle to achieve the staining effect and protect the delicate skin from ultraviolet damage. It works similar to natural tanning while avoiding sun, and skin coloring reaction is slow and gentle, so the tanning effect is natural, lasting, and no stripes. Therefore, erythrulose has better flexibility and applicability in tanning products and hair dyes.
